Welcome to WEproud

It has been noted globally that women are generally treated as inferior to men. The case is more or less the same not only in India but also in many countries of the world. According to the Indian constitution, all are born equal and share equal rights and responsibilities. Even then, women are generally deprived of their fundamental rights, considered inferior and not given an equal status like men in the society.

Women are deprived of their rights like education, empowerment and entrepreneurship and treated as inferior or neglected in the society. The case is generally similar especially in the developing and underdeveloped countries around the world. Despite honest efforts by many organizations and institutions across the world, yet there has not been improvement up to the required extent in changing the situation on a significant level.

Taking the entire scenario into consideration, there still lies a great need to incorporate drastic measures for bringing about a substantial change in the situation of women across the global society. With an intention to give a practical shape to these measure and truly revolutionize the unfortunate situation, we have initiated a campaign by the name of WEProud – which enforces to adopt the necessary measures to bring about a drastic social change in the form of Women Education, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship.
